It’s Thanksgiving Week! Our Schedule…

It’s Thanksgiving Week, and since I started blogging in 2003, that has usually meant a complete and total week-long hiatus as I travel to an Undisclosed Location in Rural America without even local dial-up access (forget broadband).

This year, however, as we did last year, we’re going to publish some stuff “in the can” to post. This year, though, I’m going to put more stuff “in the can” to post throughout the week so you won’t be sitting on the couch shivering and breaking out into a cold sweat without your Capitol Annex fix. Note: Expect some humor.

We’ll also reprise our “The Laws of Thanksgiving” post from last year, which was quite well-received, with, of course, some lovely editions.

We’ll be blogging full-strength for most of today, though, as we bake some pies (yes, I travel with pies…I simply don’t have time to make them all when I get to my destination), wash some clothes, clean out the car, and, perhaps, make a run to the local “pecan house” so I can make some pecan pie.

If we get energetic, we may even post our Thanksgiving Menu online (complete with recipes) for all the world to see. But, we’d have to be pretty damned energetic to do that and frankly, I just don’t see that happening. But, stay tuned anyway…who knows what could be “in the can.”
