It is always amusing to watch television news and see a random former legislator pop up as a hired mouthpiece for a large, regulated industry. To wit: Todd Baxter:

Yes, Baxter, who lobbies for a major cable company, was front and center in the whole NFL Network vs. Jerry Jones Show today before a House committee. We’d care, if we watched football. Alas, politics is our favorite contact sport.
