TX HD-77: Marquez Trashes Bloggers On El Paso Radio Show
If you had any doubts about Paul Moreno (D-El Paso) being the Netroots candidate in Texas House District 77 (endorsed by the Texas Progressive Alliance’s TexRoots, no less), then check out what his opponent, Marisa Marquez, had to say this week on an El Paso talk radio show on KHRO 1650 AM hosted by Betty Flores:
“There’s nothing substantial in the blogs. There’s nothing but garbage and lies.”
I am so sick and so tired of candidates trashing the Netroots because they think it is the vogue thing to do. Not only did Marquez fail to qualify her statement–essentially painting all bloggers with the same brush as a few bad apples–she has failed to tell the truth. One look through the blogs on the sidebar of this blog will find a lot more substance than Marquez has in her campaign.
