endorse Ron Paul’s primary opponent in CD14, Chris Peden. This is not a surprise, as both papers endorsed Paul’s 2006 general election opponent Shane Sklar, which the GalvNews acknowledged in its piece. Thanks toVincefor the heads up. Ron Paul, 10-term congressman from south Texas, withdrew from the presidential campaign trail because he was facing a serious primary challenge in his home district. Now, his opponent, Chris Peden, haspicked up some major newspaper endorsements. Peden is a conservative republican, naturally, so the voters have a choice between bat-shit crazy and slightly less bat-shit crazy. (I’ll let you decide which is which).
