Tia Rios Ybarra, who is running against State Rep. Juan Escobar in the Democratic Primary in House District 43, is continuing to rack up GOP money. From her 8 day out report, we see GOP contributions as follows:
$25,000 from Bob Perry
$40,000 from Texans for Lawsuit Reform (plus $11,500 for a poll)
$10,000 from Bush Pioneer Robert Rowling
$14,000 from GOP-tied developer Clayton Brashear
$5,000 from Bush appointee John Nau (Texas Historical Commission), of Silver Eagle Distributors
$4,000 in kind donation from Joe Garcia, a lobbyist with Craddick connections.
