Leininger Rears His Ugly Head In 8-Day Reports

In spite of all of the rumors that school voucher advocate Dr. James Leininger, aka “God’s Sugar Daddy,” wasn’t going to give to candidates this election cycle, his first contribution to a GOP candidate has shown up on an 8-day report via the Texas Ethics Commission.
On February 12, 2008, Leininger gave $10,000 to State Rep. Bill Zedler (R-Arlington) in his GOP Primary race against veteran Fort Worth police officer Lee Jackson.
We fully expect to see Leininger money dropping in other races, and will keep you posted.
