Changes To Capitol Annex’s Comment Policy

First and foremost, somehow we managed to accidentally turn off users’ ability to comment on posts some time back. We’re not sure how this happened, but we noticed it while trying to implement a new comment strategy here in the Annex.

Second, on a trial basis, we’ve lifted the requirement that readers be registered and logged in to comment on Capitol Annex. Hopefully, thanks to a CAPTCHA plugin (yes, that means those squiggly letters and numbers), we won’t be bombarded with spam comments. We’ll try this for a week and see how it goes.
