Sign Villarreal’s Petition To Public Utility Commission

Over at his website, Leaders Listen, State Rep. Mike Villarreal is encouraging Texans to sign a petition to the Public Utility Commission to encourage them to select a plan that maximizes the renewable energy transmission grid:

This is a critical moment in the effort to promote clean energy, green jobs and a sustainable energy future for Texas.

The state’s Public Utility Commission (PUC) is about to select a plan for developing transmission lines to carry solar and wind energy from west Texas to the state’s population centers.

This is the time to invest in a cleaner, greener future.  If Texas is to continue to be a world leader in energy, we need to commit to building the necessary infrastructure.

As the PUC prepares to make its decision, I invite you to sign this petition urging the Commissioners to select a plan that maximizes the renewable energy transmission grid.

Make sure you head over there and sign the petition before Thursday!
