By Vince Leibowitz on Jul 29, 2008 in Texas Congressional Delegation
Naturally, the denial of an appeal by the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals in the case of two border patrol agents in the shooting of a drug smuggler provides an excuse for Texas’ Congressmen and Senators to pimp themselves out for a few headlines. Cornyn has now come out in favor of a full commutation for the sentences handed down to the border patrol agents.
