Media Covers John Cornyn Wandering Around An Abandoned Hotel With A Flashlight

By Vince Leibowitz  on Aug 5, 2008 in 2008 Texas Elections

It happened in Mineral Wells, as Cornyn tried to make campaign hay talking with local leaders about getting grants for historic buildings. Yawn. Zzzzzzzzzz.

If wandering through an abandoned hotel with a flashlight is this newsworthy, perhaps Karl Rove should teach other candidates how to do it.

For God’s sake, mainstream media! John Cornyn is a United States Senator (of which we have two), not Elvis Presley or the Pope. Isn’t a nearly 800-word story about him wandering around an abandoned hotel a little, you know, extreme?
