John Cornyn: Republican Women Are Asleep; We’ll Tell You Why

We can’t resist making fun of this quote from U.S. Senator John Cornyn:
“If the media is not careful, they may just awaken the sleeping giant known as Republican women,” said U.S. Senator John Cornyn.
Oh, Senator Cornyn. I think it’ll take more than the media to awaken the Mink Mafia. If Republican women are asleep, it’s because they’re in pill induced comas…or:
(a) they are passed out from over-boozing because they suddenly realized that the Republican Party is about as supportive of women’s rights as a whale bone corset.
(b) Their husbands keep them barefoot, pregnant, and homeschooling all the time, and they fall asleep standing up.
(c) They got too close to U.S. Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison and passed out from the intoxicating smell of Chanel No. 5.
(d) They drank too many of U.S. Congresswoman Kay Granger’s famous magaritas.
(e) They are in a pill-induced coma after realizing, when they talked about the world economy and the global energy crisis, their husbands’ continued utterings of “yes, honey, isn’t that interesting,” weren’t genuine.
(f) They cried themselves to sleep, unable to find at the local Wal-Mart, the same kind of hair extensions worn by Alaska Governor Sarah Palin.
(Seriously, we’re just kidding).
