TEXAS HOUSE ON VERGE OF A TIE

Democrats have gained two seats in the Texas House so far; a gain in Murphy-Thibaut is highly possible; plus, with a recount in the offing in Harper-Brown/Romano……it could be a tie if Harper-Brown goes down on provisional ballots and in a recount.
If there is a tie, we have good reason to believe that the speaker will be a DEMOCRAT.

will win re-election. No turning Tarrant County blue, at least not this year. Texas House Diane Maldonado (D) wins. Joe Moody (D) wins. Incumbent Dan Barrett (D) loses. Donnie Dippell (D) loses. To this point, it looks like Democrats may very wellmanage a tiein the Texas House, 72-72, though doing so will hinge on the extremely close race between Bob Romano and Linda Harper-Brown.
