Mayors Races Across The State Already Heating Up

As expected, races for mayor in most of Texas’ major cities are already heating up. High-profile candidates have announced their intentions to this week in San Antonio and Austin.
In San Antonio, PR consultant Trish DeBerry has signaled her intention to enter the Mayor’s race, where Julian Castro, who also announced recently, is already a favorite over DeBerry and Councilwoman Diane Cibrian.
In Austin, Brewster McCracken today announced he would seek that city’s top job.
