TX SEN: Railroad Commissioner Michael L. Williams Enters Race For Hutchison’s Seat

Texas Railroad Commissioner Michael L. Williams, a rising Republican star and longtime friend of President George W. Bush, has today announced he will seek the U.S. Senate Seat now held by Kay Bailey Hutchison.

Hutchison is expected to abandon the seat as early as next year to pursue a run for governor.
