UPDATE: 7:03 p.m. Craddick has arrived for the “Tea & Burgers Last Supper” at Sullivans, an exclusive Austin steakhouse. He declined to speak to reporters and his press secretary (and soon to be out of a job) Alexis DeLee told reporters “We aren’t talking,” according to KXAN.
State Rep. Jimmy Don Aycock (R-Lampasas) has announced that Speaker Tom Craddick (R-Midland) has abandoned his bid for a fourth term as Speaker of the Texas House. More as it develops. KXAN CONFIRMS.

“He’s pulled out,” Miller said of the Midland Republican.
