Guillen, Turner, Others Pledge With Straus

State Rep. Joe Straus (R-San Antonio) has upped his total number of pledges to 92, adding two former “Craddick D’s” and three Republicans.
Republicans Patricia Harless (R-Spring), Mike “Tuffy” Hamilton (R-Mauriceville), and Representative-elect Angie Chen Button (R-Garland) joined Straus’ camp. Harless was previously pledged to Dan Gattis (R-Georgetown). Chen Button had been an early ally of Speaker Craddick during her campaign.
On the Democratic side, former “Craddick D’s” Sylvester Turner (D-Houston), the Speaker Pro Tem; and Ryan Guillen (R-Rio Grande City) have left Craddick’s camp for Straus’.
