Blogroll Amnesty Day

It is Blogroll Amnesty Day! If you don’t know what that is, check out Skippy’s post. The long and short of Blogroll Amnesty Day (which originated because some of the big dogs in the Liberal Blogosphere decided to dump their blogrolls some years back) is that it is a time when blogs link to other bogs that have a bit less traffic and/or exposure than they do. Any blog can (and should) participate no matter what size.
Today, we wanted to draw your attention to some of our favorite blogs that you may not be familiar with.
First, we want to direct you to TxSharon’s BlueDaze. Sharon is one of the blogosphere’s foremost experts on oil and gas drilling pollution and pollution from injection wells, fracturing, and other prominent petrochemical industry practices.
Next, we want to direct you to some of our favorite blogs from the Houston area–all of which are great Texas blogs. First, Brains and Eggs by Pdiddie, Musings by Muse (aka Martha Griffin), and Neil Aquino’s Texas Liberal. Also from Houston are two of the American Southwest’s most prominent Latino bloggers–Para Justica Y Libertad by Xicno Pwr and Stace Medellin of Dos Centavos.
From Central Texas, BlueBloggin covers national and international events.
We’ve also got a couple of favorite blogs up in Dallas and North Texas. First, North Texas Liberal from Denton County. Next, Three Wise Men from the Dallas/Fort Worth area. From the Panhandle, Job’s Anger is an excellent blog that offers an interesting perspective on Texas and national politics as well as goings on in the Panhandle.
