Straus Releases Committee Appointments; Does Democrats No Real Favors

If Democrats thought they would get any significant favorable treatment from House Speaker Joe Straus (R-San Antonio) for actually propelling him to the speakership, they woke up from that dream about 11:30 this morning and probably wondered “What the….?”.
Whether Democrats will make any statements publicly about the fact that the man they brought to the party is no longer dancing with the vast majority of those who brought him remains to be seen.
We’ll have a full analysis of the Committee Appointments later. In the meantime, we’ve Twittered a few things about Elections and Urban Affairs.
