Dewhurst To Wed Ex-Wife Of Former State Sen. Teel Bivins

For all of you Texas women who had a longing for the tall, kinda creepy looking, powerful state official rumored to wear makeup, you’re going to have to find another man to lust over: Lt. Governor David Dewhurst is off the market.
Dewhurst has confirmed that he is preparing to wed–at a date not yet set–Patricia Hamilton “Tricia” Bivins–the ex-wife of former State Sen. (and later ambassador to Sweeden) Teel Bivins (R-Amarillo). As you may recall, Dewhurst divorced his former wife, Tammy Jo Dewhurst, a former model, back in 2003.
No word on whether it will be a wedding in the Senate Chamber, or if the members of the Texas Senate will be invited (Sen. Shapiro, you can hold off on shopping for bridesmades dresses–at least for now).
So, best wishes to Lt. Governor Dewhurst and the future Mrs. Dewhurst. We just hope she remembers to hide her foundation and powder on days her future husband has TV appearances.

Trish is moving up in the world. First, Reliant Energy lobbyist, then marries Teel Bivins (also old enough to be her father) but I guess $30 million in wealth isn’t enough, so once being Mrs. Ambassador in Sweden is over, dumps him and goes after the really big money, since Dewhurst is worth at least $200 million. At least he’s prettier than Teel–they’ll make a lovely couple. Must mean Dewhurst is either running for gov, or senate or president, because he’ll need a first lady and she’ll play the act just fine. They’re both very pretty.
